The revolutionary idea of the Seewinkler Olive is born! Many years of experience as well as sustainable and resource-saving cultivation are the basis for the exquisite taste of our sun-ripened olives. Expressive and unique in Austria!
What makes us special?
Through our common vision, we combine the time-honoured agriculture in the Seewinkel with the future-oriented endeavour to break new ground. Due to ongoing climatic changes, the cultivation of olives is possible. Our goal is to bring local olives from regional production to the market in order to set new accents in the world of agriculture. Our exquisite olive products come from our own organically cultivated olive groves and are definitely a culinary unicum among Austrian delicacies.
Who are we?
In the sunniest part of Austria, we, Jonathan Beck and William Markl, have laid the foundation stone for our business. Based in the beautiful village of Gols, we will be one of the first olive producers in the country.
When we met 6 years ago during a holiday job, we immediately discovered a connection through our shared enthusiasm for agriculture and the plant world. That’s where the idea to venture into something new was born. With Jonathan’s passion for viticulture with years of experience in the family business and William’s passion for exotic and Mediterranean plants, we complement each other perfectly.
OUR STORY
The first harvest
The premiere was not long in coming. Already in the first year of standing, some trees have formed the first olives.
